Join the very talented collage artist, Michelle, for a new exciting collage class at Sea Sky Gallery in May.
Wednesday 22nd May 7-9pm. £30 per person, all materials included.
In this 2 hour workshop, you will learn to cut images, and how to layer and work your pieces into a whimsical, Alice in Wonderland' inspired piece of collage art.
Michelle Franchini is a self-taught college artist based in Hamble and specialises in hand cut analogue college and her intricate work has a whimsical quality about it.
Trained in fine art, Michelle discovered the magical word of collage around 5 years ago, almost by chance, and since then, she has not looked back.
She sells her work to private collectors and galleries, and has recently completed commission work for furniture restorers who use her colourful designs as decoupage to transform chosen pieces. Her art is easily recognisable using repeat imagery of landscapes, architecture and the love of animals.
Her college workshops are fun yet informative and offer a gateway and introduction into the addictive art of collage.
